Rauchbier offers a glimpse of brewing’s past, when drying malt over open flames naturally infused beer with smoky character. Only a handful of breweries in Bamberg, Germany still keep this tradition alive. Bygone Era honours this legacy, brewed with beechwood-smoked malt from two German maltsters.
